Save John Orwell
Tower Hamlets Council is proposing to build housing on the John Orwell site. While we absolutely support the need for more social housing, we believe John Orwell is a community asset, not spare land for housing.
John Orwell is one of the few sports and leisure facilities serving our densely populated borough, and a much-loved part of Wapping’s heritage and local identity.
